In one lakeside town a small incident that appeared to be a typical fight among school children spirals out of control. The inconsistent stories grow the conflict into a matter involving society and the media. Then one stormy morning the children disappear.

A guy with obsessive compulsive disorder and an extreme fear of uncleanliness (Kento Hayashi) finds it hard to maintain a relationship or engage in society. He meets a girl (Nana Komatsu) that skips school, has a fear of being looked at, and loves insects. They come to support each other in reintegrating to society and eventually fall in love. But there's a problem: the parasites in their heads.

This is a story of a family of "little" people.
