Dubbed “the greatest that never was,” Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt) was FORMULA 1’s most promising phenom of the 1990s until an accident on the track nearly ended his career. Thirty years later, he’s a nomadic racer-for-hire when he’s approached by his former teammate Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem), owner of a struggling FORMULA 1 team that is on the verge of collapse. Ruben convinces Sonny to come back to FORMULA 1 for one last shot at saving the team and being the best in the world. So.... Covid-19 Lock Down has driven me to this. I have spent A LOT of hours recreating this movie trailer using the action figures from the movie and some random toys and dolls, along with a lot of handmade props and sets.

Other than of course Kong and Godzillla, my remake also stars the Billie Eilish Bad Guy doll as the female lead, and of course I couldn't resist throwing an Eleven (Stranger Things) doll in there for Millie Bobby Brown's role.

This was SO MUCH FUN to create. I'm doing this for nothing, so I hope you guys enjoy watching it and get a little laugh out of the details. Comment and let me know if you liked it.

The inspiration behind this video:

Tom Holland has long been considered a top contender to portray Ben Tennyson in a live-action adaptation, with fan-made concept trailers championing him for the role. Among the various Ben 10 storylines, Alien Force seems to be the best fit for Holland. In some ways, Ben Tennyson shares similarities with Peter Parker. Both characters are young heroes burdened with the responsibility of saving the world from dangerous villains, making the role somewhat familiar territory for Holland. Following the success of Spider-Man: Homecoming, where Holland was praised for capturing the complexities of a young hero with overwhelming responsibilities, he’s proven he can thrive in this type of role. However, Ben 10: Alien Force has a much darker tone. With its more intricate plot, fewer comedic moments, and the willingness to kill off characters, it marks a shift from the lighter, more heroic portrayals Holland has been known for thus far.

Although he’s set to lead several major films, including Uncharted, Holland has shown a growing interest in grittier narratives, as seen in projects like The Devil All the Time and Cherry. A Ben 10: Alien Force adaptation could serve as the perfect blend of the lighter superhero roles he's excelled in and the darker, more complex characters he’s eager to explore. The franchise comes with a built-in fanbase, and the source material was considered challenging and sophisticated when it first aired. While plans for a live-action adaptation currently seem dormant, should they move forward, Holland would be an excellent choice to lead the project.
