Welcome to the grand, spectacular and intriguing world of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. The makers unveiled a new teaser of the show and it's absolutely stunning. Needless to say, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's creation can't be imagined without opulence and grandeur. The first look of Heeramandi was no different. Courtesans Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha and Sanjeeda Shaikh can be seen bonding with each other in the teaser. While they can be seen dressed in yellow suits, Sonakshi Sinha enters the scene in her black outfit and with an intriguing look. Does she have a hidden motive? The teaser, spanning more than one minutes, shows Richa as a bride, Manisha murdering someone, Aditi and Sharmin Segal firing pistols in the backdrop of the pre-Independent India and freedom movements. Speaking about his magnum-opus, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, in a statement earlier, said, "Heeramandi is an important milestone in my journey as a filmmaker. This is an epic, first of its kind series based on the courtesans of Lahore. It is an ambitious, grand and all-encompassing series; therefore I am nervous yet excited about making it. I am looking forward to my partnership with Netflix and bringing Heeramandi to audiences all over the world."



Sanjay Leela Bhansali has directed films like Khamoshi: The Musical, Black, Devdas, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Guzaarish, to name a few. His last directorial project was the 2022 hit Gangubai Kathiawadi, starring Alia Bhatt in the titular role and Ajay Devgn in a supporting role.

This year we welcome back the beloved Swedish fantasy-tale of Ronja the Robber’s Daughter – following Ronja as she grows up and discovers the magical, yet dangerous forest with its mysterious creatures. When Ronja meets the young boy Birk from a rival gang, it marks the beginning of a dark family feud and a forbidden friendship emerges, all while a notorious bailiff arrives to rid the forest of robbers once and for all.

Writer Hans Rosenfeldt, director Lisa James Larsson and producers Bonnie Skoog Feeney & Mattias Arehn have transformed the story of Ronja based on the Astrid Lindgren book. The series will be released in two parts, with Part 1 (episode 1-6) launching on March 28, followed by Part 2 (episode 7-12) later in 2024.

Director Fede Alvarez's upcoming Alien film has received an official title: Alien: Romulus. While previously used as a working title, the adoption of "Romulus" aligns with the franchise's tradition of drawing from religious and mythological themes.

Disney CEO Bob Iger unveiled the official title during the company's Q1 earnings call. Penned and directed by Uruguayan horror maestro Fede Alvarez, renowned for works like Don't Breathe and the 2013 Evil Dead, the film concept was enthusiastically embraced by 20th Century, making it a top priority for production.

Set between the events of Alien (1979) and Aliens (1986), Alien: Romulus delves into the narrative: "Young people from a distant world must confront the most fearsome life form in the universe."

The cast of Romulus features Cailee Spaeny, Isabela Merced, Aileen Wu, Spike Fearn, David Jonsson, and Archie Renaux. Positioned as the seventh installment in the primary Alien series, the film stands independent of the Alien TV series currently underway at FX, under the guidance of Noah Hawley. Delays attributed to last year's industry strikes suggest the series won't debut until next year.

Alien: Romulus is slated for theatrical release on August 16, a shift from its original Hulu release plan.

A Jerry Weintraub production, “The Legend of Tarzan” is slated for release on July 1, 2016. The film will be distributed in 2D and 3D in select theatres and IMAX by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company, and in select territories by Village Roadshow Pictures.
