Twixt is an upcoming film written and directed by Francis Ford Coppola and starring Val Kilmer.

A writer with a declining career arrives in a small town as part of his book tour and gets caught up in a murder mystery involving a young girl. That night in a dream, he is approached by a mysterious young ghost named V. He's unsure of her connection to the murder in the town, but is grateful for the story being handed to him. Ultimately he is led to the truth of the story, surprised to find that the ending has more to do with his own life than he could ever have anticipated.

In an interview with The New York Times, Coppola discussed the origins of the movie, which he said "grew out of dream [he] had last year -- more of a nightmare" and "seemed to have the imagery of Hawthorne or Poe." He continued:
"But as I was having it I realized perhaps it was a gift, as I could make it as a story, perhaps a scary film, I thought even as I was dreaming. But then some loud noise outside woke me up, and I wanted to go back to the dream and get an ending. But I couldn't fall back asleep so I recorded what I remembered right there and then on my phone. I realized that it was a gothic romance setting, so in fact I'd be able to do it all around my home base, rather than have to go to a distant country."
Twixt is being filmed at Coppola's estate in Napa County as well as remote film locations in Lake County, California including Downtown Kelseyville, Nice and Pope Valley. It was announced that musician Dan Deacon will score the film. The film's name was changed from "Twixt Now and Sunrise" to "Twixt" and will have scenes from it played at the San Diego Comic-Con International. It will premier at the Toronto International Film Festival.

The 3-D epic adventure Immortals is directed by revolutionary visualist Tarsem Singh (The Cell, The Fall) and produced by Gianni Nunnari and Mark Canton, the producers of 300, as well as Ryan Kavanaugh (Dear John, The Dark Fields).

Three brothers (Tom Hardy, Shia LaBeouf & Jason Clarke) who run a bootlegging operation in Prohibition-era Virginia are threatened when the local law (Guy Pearce) asks for a cut of the profit.

In a field hospital in Italy, Hana, a nurse from Canada, is caring for a pilot who was horribly burned in a plane wreck; he has no identification and cannot remember his name, so he’s known simply as “the English Patient,” thanks to his accent. When the hospital is forced to evacuate, Hana determines en route that the patient shouldn’t be moved far due to his fragile condition, so the two are left in a monastery to be picked up later. In time, Hana begins to piece together the patient’s story from the shards of his memories.
