Synopsis: Kamal Malhotra lives a struggling life with his mom and is employed as a salesman. Yesterday, ace director Ali Abbas Zafar put all the speculations to rest and finally confirmed the epic ‘Mr India’ trilogy. He took to his Twitter account and shared the big news with his fans. Since there were a lot of rumours doing the rounds about Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer Singh doing the film, Ali informed fans that the casting would begin once he had locked the first draft of the script.


In his post, the director wrote, “Excited to partner with @ZeeStudios_for an epic trilogy #MrIndia! It is a huge responsibility to carry forward an iconic character loved by everyone. Currently, working on the script, no actor has been locked till now. Once we lock the first draft of the script, casting begins!”
But looks like the announcement has not gone down too well with filmmaker Shekhar Kapur who had directed Anil Kapoor, Sridevi and Amrish Puri’s iconic film ‘Mr India’. One of the users had tweeted, “It is completely a bad idea.... This film should not remade for its cult classic status. No one ever can match #Sridevi ji ‘s powerhouse performance and screen presence and #Amrish ji’s stealer act. It will fail vary badly. @shekharkapur Sir plz kuch karo. @BoneyKapoor Sir plzz.” Responding to the tweet, Shekhar criticized the makers for not even informing him about the trilogy.


“No one has even asked me or mentioned to me about this film called Mr India 2. I can only guess that they are using the title to get a big weekend. For they cannot use the characters/story without permission from the original creators of the film,” the director tweeted.

But earlier, the makers claimed that the film won’t be a sequel or remake of Shekhar Kapur’s iconic film. In an interview with IANS, the producer of the film had mentioned, “We are excited to have Ali on board for ‘Mr. India’. This is not a part 2 or a remake of the older film as recently reported in some sections of the media, but a reimagining of the iconic classic.”

Synopsis: Army officer Bahadur Singh is recalled to duty on very day his wife gives birth to son Vijay. Enraged Bahadur Singh takes law in his hand, join gang of bandits led by Daulat Singh and changes his name to Sher Singh. One day Sher Singh is shot by police. Doctor Raghuveer Singh comes to treat him. But Sher Singh think that Raghuveer Singh is policeman and kill Raghuveer Singh. When he realise his mistake, he repents and surrender to police. Years pass by. Sher Singh's son Vijay grows up and fall in love with Aarti. Aarti is daughter of Mr Chaudhary, alias of decoit Daulat Singh. Son of Doctor Raghuveer Singh becomes police inspector. Suraj has only one mission. Find Sher Singh and kill him to take revenge of his father's murder by Sher Singh. This gives more twists and turns in the story which leads to a dead end with many people to repent.

Histoire et errance d'un jeune enfant indien, livré à lui-même et obligé de travailler, dans les rues de Bombay en Inde.
Krishna n'a que 10 ans lorsqu'il détruit par le feu une petite moto que son frère répare. Pour le punir sa mère le bannit et le confie à un directeur de cirque. Il ne pourra revenir dans sa famille pour rembourser son frère que lorsqu'il aura économisé 500 roupies. Un jour, il est abandonné par le directeur de cirque qui l'a envoyé faire une course au village voisin. Krishna n'a plus qu'une solution : se débrouiller seul pour pouvoir retourner dans son village, une fois fortune faite. Arrivé à Bombay, il se fait embaucher comme vendeur de thé ambulant. Peu à peu, il parvient à se faire accepter par les enfants des rues et devient l'ami de Chillum, un dealer au service de Baba, le proxénète du quartier. Il est aussi très proche de la petite Manju dont la mère, Rekha, est une prostituée abusée par Baba. Krishna s'éprend d'une jeune vierge de 16 ans, Solasaal, qu'un enlèvement a conduite du Népal dans le bordel voisin qui s'apprête à la vendre au plus offrant. Avec Manju et ses copains, il se laisse entraîner dans quelques mauvais coups ou chaparde pour faire des cadeaux à Solassal ou pour soigner Chillum qui abuse de hashisch. Son patron le renvoie en ne lui payant que la moitié de la somme dont il a besoin pour rentrer au village. Il cache ses 250 roupies dans la cachette que lui a indiquée Chillum. Il aide Chillum à trouver de l'argent pour se droguer. Mais, plus tard, Chillum meurt d'avoir trop fumé. Il découvre alors que celui-ci lui a volé son argent. Avec Manju et leurs amis, il se transforme, pour un soir, en serveur dans une noce. Au retour, en pleine nuit, ils sont interpellés par une patrouille de flics véreux qui les dépouillent de leur maigre gain et les expédient dans deux prisons distinctes, une pour les filles, une pour les garçons. Si Manju semble condamnée, compte tenu du passé de sa mère, à y être élevée jusqu'à sa majorité, Krishna n'a que la solution d'une évasion risquée lorsqu'il constate que ses codétenus deviennent fous ou violents. Krishna retourne chez Baba alors que Rekha, désespérée de n'avoir pu récupérer sa fille, quitte le proxénète. Il arrive à l'aider dans sa fuite en se vengeant de la vente de Solasaal, mais ils sont séparés par la foule exaltée d'une fête religieuse. À nouveau seul et sans le sou, Krishna pleure...
