Das war eine fremdenfeindliche Bemerkung zu viel: Professor Richard Pohl (Christoph Maria Herbst) droht von seiner Universität zu fliegen, nachdem er die Jura-Studentin Naima Hamid (Nilam Farooq) in einem vollbesetzten Hörsaal beleidigt hat. Als das Video viral geht, gibt Universitätspräsident Alexander Lambrecht (Ernst Stötzner) seinem alten Weggefährten eine letzte Chance: Wenn es dem rhetorisch begnadeten Professor gelingt, die Erstsemestlerin Naima für einen bundesweiten Debattier-Wettbewerb fitzumachen, wären seine Chancen vor dem Disziplinarausschuss damit wesentlich besser. Pohl und Naima sind gleichermaßen entsetzt, doch mit der Zeit sammelt die ungleiche Zweckgemeinschaft erste Erfolge – bis Naima erkennt, dass das Multi-Kulti-Märchen offenbar nur einem Zweck dient: den Ruf der Universität zu retten.
