Trapped in a violent, controlling relationship with a wealthy and brilliant scientist, Cecilia Kass (Moss) escapes in the dead of night and disappears into hiding, aided by her sister (Harriet Dyer, NBC’s The InBetween), their childhood friend (Aldis Hodge, Straight Outta Compton) and his teenage daughter (Storm Reid, HBO’s Euphoria).

But when Cecilia’s abusive ex (Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Netflix’s The Haunting of Hill House) commits suicide and leaves her a generous portion of his vast fortune, Cecilia suspects his death was a hoax. As a series of eerie coincidences turns lethal, threatening the lives of those she loves, Cecilia’s sanity begins to unravel as she desperately tries to prove that she is being hunted by someone nobody can see.

Jason Blum, our current-day master of the horror genre, produces The Invisible Man for his Blumhouse Productions. The Invisible Man is written, directed and executive produced by Leigh Whannell, one of the original conceivers of the Saw franchise who most recently directed Upgrade and Insidious: Chapter 3.

The film is also produced by Kylie du Fresne (Upgrade, The Sapphires) for Goalpost Pictures. The executive producers are Whannell, Beatriz Sequeira, Charles Layton, Rosemary Blight, Ben Grant, Couper Samuelson and Jeanette Volturno. Synopsis:
Once a renowned con-couple who were never caught, Rakesh Trivedi (Saif Ali Khan) and Vimmi Saluja (Rani Mukerji) aka Bunty and Babli, now live a reformed life in a sleepy heartland town of Phursatganj with their son Pappu and a midlife crisis. One fine day, their quiet life gets turned upside down when their trademark sigil starts appearing across India in a spate of con jobs.

An over ambitious Inspector Jatayu Singh (Pankaj Tripathi) picks them up for questioning, only to find out that a couple of imposters are pulling off con-jobs under Bunty and Babli’s name. This doesn't go well with the original Bunty and Babli.

Inspector Jatayu threatens Rakesh and Vimmi to join him in the hunt for imposters. A reluctant Rakesh and Vimmi join half-heartedly. The hunt begins and they retrace all the cons executed by imposters and find a way to nab them. But the new Bunty (Siddhant Chaturvedi) and Babli (Sharvari) are up for all the challenges. They manage to escape by the thinnest of margins. A frustrated Inspector Jatayu rebukes Rakesh and Vimmi saying that they have lost their steam and are better off as nobodies in a godforsaken town.

Hurt by his words, Rakesh and Vimmi’s hearts are now set on fire. They decide to go after the imposters with all their energy to regain their respect. They connect with friends from their previous cons to help them. The resurrected team now goes full throttle and lays a trap so elaborate that the imposters never see through it. A humorous and thrilling cat-n-mouse chase begins.

As the 4 con artistes cross each other’s paths, a strange dynamic starts evolving where they share a lot of banter and heart to heart moments. But just when you think their eye is not on the prize, you are mistaken. The con artistes get conned at their own game, but which couple comes on the top remains a mystery till the final curtain opens and surprises are revealed.
