What will it sound like when you die? A chain of people receive terrifying cell phone messages of their own final, fatal moments. Though the messages can be deleted, their number is up. Beth Raymond (Shannyn Sossamon) is traumatized when she witnesses the gruesome deaths of two friends just days apart. Even more disturbing, she knows that both of them had received chilling cell phone messages; —actual recordings of their own horrifying last moments. Aankhen (Hindi: आँखें, Urdu: آنکھیں) is a 2002 Bollywood heist thriller drama film produced by Gaurang Doshi directed by debutant Vipul Amrutlal Shah.

The film stars an ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal, Paresh Rawal and Sushmita Sen in the lead roles, while Bipasha Basu and Kashmira Shah appear in cameos.

The film tells the story of Vijay Singh Rajput (Bachchan) a hard-working but temperamental man, who has spent all his life working for one bank and even achieving them International recognition. When Vijay loses his mind and goes on a violent rampage beating up another employee, he is subsequently fired. He decides to take vengeance by organising a full on heist, and having the same bank robbed by three blind men, as no one will suspect them.

Korte inhoud: Frank Horrigan (Clint Eastwood) is een agent van de geheime dienst die steeds terugdenkt aan 22 november 1963, toen hij, als zorgvuldig uitgekozen agent door president John F. Kennedy, één van de weinige agenten werd die een president verloor aan een moordenaar toen Kennedy stierf. Nu, voormalig C.I.A. huurmoordenaar Mitch Leary (John Malkovich) stalkt de huidige president (Jim Curley), die zich kandidaat stelt voor herverkiezing. Mitch heeft vele uren besteed aan het bestuderen van Horrigan, en hij confronteert Horrigan en vertelt hem over zijn plannen om de president te vermoorden. Leary is van plan de president te vermoorden omdat Leary zich verraden voelt door de regering. Leary werd verwijderd uit de CIA en de CIA probeert hem nu om te brengen. Nadat hij met Leary heeft gesproken, zorgt Horrigan ervoor dat hij wordt toegewezen aan de presidentiële beschermingsdienst, in samenwerking met collega-geheimagent Lilly Raines (Rene Russo). Horrigan is deze keer niet van plan zijn president in de steek te laten, en hij is meer dan bereid een kogel op te vangen. Stafchef van het Witte Huis Harry Sargent (Fred Thompson) weigert de reisroute van de president te wijzigen, terwijl de baas van Horrigan, directeur van de geheime dienst Sam Campagna (John Mahoney), Horrigan steunt. Naarmate de verkiezingen dichterbij komen, begint Horrigan aan zijn eigen capaciteiten te twijfelen, vooral wanneer Horrigans collega Al D’Andrea (Dylan McDermott) wordt vermoord door Leary. Maar Horrigan is misschien de enige die Leary kan stoppen.
