Soon to be seen at the New York Film Festival, this daring and propulsive five-and-a-half-hour film is the definitive portrait of the renowned international terrorist known as Carlos the Jackal, who masterminded a wave of terror attacks in Europe and the Middle East in the '70s and '80s. Venezuelan actor Édgar Ramírez (CHE, THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM) stars in the title role. Produced by Studio Canal in association with Sundance Channel, the film is Sundance Channel's first original scripted project and will premiere on the network as a three-part mini-series from October 11 to October 13. On Friday, October 15, IFC Films will launch the US theatrical run of the film in New York City, in both the three-part version (IFC Center) as well as a two-and-one-half hour theatrical version (Lincoln Plaza Cinemas). CARLOS will play nationally in both its extended and theatrical versions. The theatrical version will also be available nationally on video-on-demand. So much so than when her best friend, Rhiannon (Aly Michalka), asks Olive how her weekend went, the bored teen decides to whip up a spicy white lie just to make things interesting.
