Venom (1997) was a proposed film by New Line Cinemas. Very few details are available on this film, only that it would star Dolph Lungrem as Venom. It would be written by David Goya. And it would have feature the villain Carnage. This is my attempt to recreate what the film might have looked like.

Kiyoshi Kurosawa's CURE is for my money one of the best films ever made, with a unique sense of dread and terror that would become a hallmark of Kurosawa's filmography and the J-Horror boom that followed. The original theatrical trailer, by Cowboy Booking International and included as part of the original Home Video Entertainment Kurosawa releases, succinctly captures the feeling of watching CURE without giving away its many mysteries.

In honor of its debut on Blu-ray as part of the Criterion Collection, I took the liberty of using the film's new 4K restoration to equally restore this trailer.

The 4K restoration provided the main basis of the new trailer edit. Title cards were restored from the trailer provided on the HVE DVD by running it through Topaz AI.
