Spacey plays Lester Burnham, a man in his mid-40s going through an intense midlife crisis; he's grown cynical and is convinced that he has no reason to go on. Lester's relationship with his wife Carolyn (Annette Bening) is not a warm one; while on the surface Carolyn strives to present the image that she's in full control of her life, inside she feels empty and desperate. Their teenage daughter Jane (Thora Birch) is constantly depressed, lacking in self-esteem, and convinced that she's unattractive. Her problems aren't helped by her best friend Angela (Mena Suvari), an aspiring model who is quite beautiful and believes that that alone makes her a worthwhile person. Jane isn't the only one who has noticed that Angela is attractive: Lester has fallen into uncontrollable lust for her, and she becomes part of his drastic plan to change his body and change his life. Meanwhile, next door, Colonel Fitts (Chris Cooper) has spent a lifetime in the Marine Corps and can understand and tolerate no other way of life, which makes life difficult for his son Ricky (Wes Bentley), an aspiring filmmaker and part-time drug dealer who is obsessed with beauty, wherever and whatever it may be.

When a group of young explorers venture to a mysterious lake, they discover an island harbouring an abandoned lab facility with a horrific legacy: the island is home to a deadly predator. Before they can turn back, the crew gets dragged into a battle for their lives – former enemies will quickly need to put their egos aside and work together if there is any hope for survival.

Check out the official SLUURP concept trailer for Netflix's Live-Action Pokemon Series. Following the commercial success of Pokémon: Detective Pikachu, it seemed inevitable that other live-action Pokémon adventures would be adapted for the big and small screen. The Ryan Reynolds-led film is said to be getting a sequel, but Netflix is also developing a live-action Pokémon film. In recent years, Netflix has been the home of numerous Pokémon anime series, with Pokémon Indigo League and Pokémon Master Journeys available to watch on the streaming platform

According to The Illuminerdi, Netflix is making a live-action Pokémon feature that will link up with their next Pokémon series. The film will not be a sequel to the recently released Detective Pikachu, but rather a reboot of the franchise. There is currently no information on the film’s premiere date or if it will follow the television series or after it.

In July 2021, Variety reported that a new Pokemon series is in early development at Netflix. The show is still in early development so no details are available about the plot.Joe Henderson is attached to write and executive produce. Henderson currently serves as co-showrunner and executive producer on the popular Netflix series “Lucifer,” which wrapped up its final season at the streaming giant.

It is also being reported that the project would be a live-action series akin to the “Detective Pikachu” film starring Ryan Reynolds and Justice Smith that was released in 2019. The move to develop an original Netflix Pokemon series comes as the streamer has made itself the home to multiple existing Pokemon shows, including “Pokemon: Indigo League” and “Pokemon Journeys” among others. Netflix has also been making a strong push into anime in recent years, having previously announced original series based on “Far Cry,” “Splinter Cell,” and “Terminator.” Netflix has been moving into more live-action adaptations of anime titles as well, including the upcoming “Cowboy Bebop” and “One Piece” live-action shows. The streamer previously released a live-action “Death Note” film in 2017.

The Black Panther is eternal. With the untimely death of King T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman), Wakanda must move forward and crown a new King. Shuri (Letitia Wright), Killmonger (Michael B Jordan) and Okoye (Danai Gurira) are back in this concept trailer spinoff to the Disney Marvel Black Panther movie series.

The actual movie sequel Wakanda Forever is due to release this year and is rumoured to center around Shuri. Will it include other heroes from the Marvel universe? This is a concept trailer. That means it's not real. It's created as fan service, to give fans an idea of what "might have been".

These movie trailers take an incredible amount of work. For this trailer I hired two voice artists to read my script. I then composed the audio, and worked from over 12 different movies to bring the concept to life. With the use of effects and graphic overlays (like the newspaper, gravesite and new report) a brand new story is told.
