When a group of best friends in Tel Aviv gather to watch Universong, they are less than impressed by the official Israeli entry. Believing that they can do better, they spontaneously create and record their own song on a mobile phone.

Little do they know, their performance is seen by the Universong judges and soon they are reluctantly thrown into the spotlight as Israel's next official entry. After initial reservations about their new found celebrity status, they decide to just go for it and find themselves on the road to international stardom. They embark on a flamboyant journey that brings about hilarious end results as they go head to head with the Russian entry in the Universong final.

Tom Holland has long been considered a top contender to portray Ben Tennyson in a live-action adaptation, with fan-made concept trailers championing him for the role. Among the various Ben 10 storylines, Alien Force seems to be the best fit for Holland. In some ways, Ben Tennyson shares similarities with Peter Parker. Both characters are young heroes burdened with the responsibility of saving the world from dangerous villains, making the role somewhat familiar territory for Holland. Following the success of Spider-Man: Homecoming, where Holland was praised for capturing the complexities of a young hero with overwhelming responsibilities, he’s proven he can thrive in this type of role. However, Ben 10: Alien Force has a much darker tone. With its more intricate plot, fewer comedic moments, and the willingness to kill off characters, it marks a shift from the lighter, more heroic portrayals Holland has been known for thus far.

Although he’s set to lead several major films, including Uncharted, Holland has shown a growing interest in grittier narratives, as seen in projects like The Devil All the Time and Cherry. A Ben 10: Alien Force adaptation could serve as the perfect blend of the lighter superhero roles he's excelled in and the darker, more complex characters he’s eager to explore. The franchise comes with a built-in fanbase, and the source material was considered challenging and sophisticated when it first aired. While plans for a live-action adaptation currently seem dormant, should they move forward, Holland would be an excellent choice to lead the project.
