In September 2014, VICE News documented the birth of the so-called Umbrella Movement in Hong Kong. When students organized a weeklong strike to protest China’s handling of the local election process, the government responded with tear gas. Thousands of Hong Kong residents took to the city’s streets in solidarity with the students and the protesters occupied several major roads for weeks on end.

Nearly two months into the occupation, the demands and resolve of the protesters remained unchanged. They started to become fatigued and divided against each other, however, and public support for their cause began to decline. The movement was under immense pressure to either escalate their action, or to retreat and give back the streets.

When VICE News returned to Hong Kong near the end of 2014 to check in on the protesters, we witnessed the final days of the Umbrella Movement’s pro-democracy demonstrations.

Editing Details:

I knew from the start Rush Hour 4 dream trailer 3 would be fun to edit. That is because by the time of making this Jackie Chan dropped a new movie trailer for his new film HIDDEN STRIKE. So I was inspired to make the trailer in addition we get some clips from AIR film for Chris Tucker fresh scenes. This is rare because Chris doesn’t have much new films so this trailer is long awaited. As for Rush Hour 4 real movie, so far all we hear are rumors so no word if it will actually happen.

One more plus for the trailer was finding HD deleted scenes footage from Rush Hour 3. There was a scene of Carter and Lee talking in a supposed final scene of the movie going to Fiji with the ladies. I don’t understand why they removed it I thought it was a great scene. So I made this start to bring the idea that the duo will finally going to Fiji. There was a scene of a horse waking up Lee from RIDE ON which I made connect with a scene of bad guys coming to the room to make the scene about the horse saving him in Fiji. Then at the end I made a scene of Lee and Carter talking in a coffee shop which I edited using clips from AIR and an interview of Jackie by changing the background. Overall the Rush Hour 4 trailer 3 went better than I expected, and was able to top trailer 2 by a mile.

Valley of Tears is a harrowing, ten-episode limited drama series inspired by the true events of the 1973 Yom Kippur War in Israel. Leading up to the ultimate battle, the series follows young combatants thrust into a war that was later revealed could have been avoided by leaders they blindly trusted. Streaming November 12 only on HBO Max.

The intent of this project is to produce a time-sensitive film about the importance of standing with Israel. The purpose of this film, “Why Stand With Israel” is to raise awareness for people who support Israel, and to encourage them to boldly declare, in our current times, to STAND and defend her according to what G-d’s

OPENS IN NEW YORK CITY JANUARY 29th, 2010! Tarek, a Palestinian forced on a suicide mission in Tel Aviv to redeem his fathers honor, is given a second chance when the fuse on his explosive vest fails to detonate. Forced to spend the weekend in Tel Aviv awaiting its repair, Tarek must live amongst the people he was planning to kill.
