Meek housewife Thelma (Geena Davis) joins her friend Louise (Susan Sarandon), an independent waitress, on a short fishing trip. However, their trip becomes a flight from the law when Louise shoots and kills a man who tries to rape Thelma at a bar. Louise decides to flee to Mexico, and Thelma joins her. On the way, Thelma falls for sexy young thief J.D. (Brad Pitt) and the sympathetic Detective Slocumb (Harvey Keitel) tries to convince the two women to surrender before their fates are sealed.

Night on Earth is a 1991 film written and directed by Jim Jarmusch. It is a collection of five vignettes, taking place during the same night, concerning the temporary bond formed between taxi driver and passenger in five cities: Los Angeles, New York, Paris, Rome, and Helsinki. Jarmusch wrote the screenplay in about eight days, and the choice of certain cities was largely based on the actors with whom he wanted to work.[1] The soundtrack of the same name is by Tom Waits.

After the success of their cult hit, The Evil Dead producer Robert Tapert and director Sam Raimi made Crimewave their next feature film. Also along from the ride is their Evil Dead leading man Bruce Campbell, who plays a supporting role. Writing the film along with Raimi is Ethan Coen and Joel Coen (The Big Lebowski, Fargo and Raising Arizona).
In a nod to film noir, a businessman hires two inept "exterminators" to kill his business partner in a burglar-alarm company, but his dim-witted wife witnesses the crime and becomes their next target, along with the nerd framed for the murder.
