CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Willie (Billy Bob Thornton) is a drunk who is also a mall Santa Claus. But mostly, he's a con man who robs department stores on Christmas Eve with the help of his little person elf, Marcus (Tony Cox). Willie befriends a strange kid (Brett Kelly) and gets caught up with Gin (Bernie Mac) who catches on to the con men's plan.

FILM DESCRIPTION:
The Christmas season just got a lot less joyous in this very dark comedy. Willie T. Stokes (Billy Bob Thornton) is a con man and a thief who teams up with his friend Marcus (Tony Cox), a midget, for a very special scam each year during the holiday season. Willie gets a job as Santa Claus at a shopping mall, his pal tags along as an elf, and they use their employee status to crack mall security and rob stores blind just before Christmas. However, there's one flaw to this plan -- Willie is a bitter, foul-mouthed and perpetually grouchy alcoholic who doesn't care for kids, and it's all he can do to keep himself from getting fired while on the job. The mall's manager (John Ritter, in his last film appearance) is certain something's wrong with the Santa he's hired, so he asks the mall's chief of security (Bernie Mac) to do some research on Willie. Meanwhile, one of the kids Willie is forced to talk to becomes a regular customer; overweight, awkward, and the frequent target of bullies, the boy manages to arouse something like sympathy from Willie, who tries to give him some advice and develops something vaguely resembling Christmas sprit along the way. Bad Santa was directed by Terry Zwigoff, who enjoyed previous success with Crumb and Ghost World.

This trailer has an interesting history. It's a reboot of my first Titanic 2 trailer (Jacks Back) which has over 50 million views. I wanted to take the same plot, but give it a modern take and update it to be more realistic. Everything was redone for this video. New voices were recorded, new effects work, new music, and new footage filmed. There is also a big plot twist this time around.

This trailer is also my first ever collaboration. It's a 2025 version. I hired a super talented editor by the name of Billy Crammer to create this. Check out his channel for amazing, high quality edits (his stuff always looks professional, mine is a little more silly). He did a brilliant job creating the core of this video, then I went in and added some silliness to match the content of my regular work.

And if you're reading this far and you're still confused, this is not a real movie. It's a parody trailer (sometimes called a fan trailer or concept trailer). Fan trailers take existing material and through the use of editing, effects work, voiceovers and music, a new and original narrative is created.

These types of videos are a great way to gauge interest in a new film or sequel (plus they're a fantastic creative outlet).

This is actually my fourth Titanic 2 trailer. I have the original Jacks Back (which this is based on). There is also Titanic 2: Never Let Go which is the horror sequel. And finally there's the feel-good, happy ending in Titanic 2: The Return of Jack.
