Battletruck (also known as Warlords of the 21st Century in the U.S. and Destructors in Italy) is a 1982 New Zealand post-apocalyptic science fiction action film co-written and directed by Harley Cokliss and starring Michael Beck, Annie McEnroe, James Wainwright, John Ratzenberger, and Bruno Lawrence.

Set in the aftermath of a devastating series of wars referred to as the Oil Wars, the plot is a futuristic tale of a community fighting against a local warlord in the lawless rural countrywide. A co-production between New Zealand and the United Kingdom, it was filmed on location in New Zealand and starring a number of local actors, and was part of a wave of similarly-themed films made in the wake of the success of the Mad Max series.

Kim Ji-young (Yu-mi Jung, Train To Busan) is an ordinary Korean woman in her 30s who is often distressed by her everyday life as a full-time mom and housewife. Although being married to the man she loves and the struggle of raising a baby girl have forced her to give up on many things, Ji-young believes she is content in life. Neil Young's rare, bizarre 1982 apocalyptic comedy finally hits Australian screens.

Young is revered for his righteous protest songs, but lost curio Human Highway proves that he can have fun – very strange fun.

Under a directorial pseudonym Bernard Shakey, Young drew together an all-star counter-cultural cast to tell the tale of dorky garage mechanic Lionel Switch (Shakey himself) navigating the last day on earth with a rock star, an Arab sheik, nuclear-waste technicians and assorted freaks in the dead town of Linear Valley.

Amityville II: The Possession is a 1982 supernatural horror film directed by Damiano Damiani. The screenplay by Tommy Lee Wallace is based on the novel Murder in Amityville by the parapsychologist Hans Holzer. It is a prequel to The Amityville Horror, set at 112 Ocean Avenue and featuring the fictional Montelli family loosely based on the DeFeo family. The cast includes Academy Award nominee Burt Young, who was known for Rocky at the time. This film includes one of Young's rare darker roles as he plays an abusive and sadistic father/husband in contrast to his more easygoing roles. It is the second installment in the Amityville franchise.
