While there haven't been many Mortal Kombat 2 story details, the end of Mortal Kombat sets up further invasions by Shang Tsung (Chin Han) as he seeks to use his Outworld allies to prevent a fair Mortal Kombat tournament from happening. Though the wait to find out who will be playing the iconic Johnny Cage is getting harder, it was confirmed in the very final shot of Mortal Kombat that the smart-talking Hollywood star will be in the sequel too. In more confirmed Mortal Kombat 2 updates, an actual Mortal Kombat tournament will be shown in a Mortal Kombat 2 movie, making up for its absence in the first movie.

It has been all but confirmed that Joe Taslim will return in Mortal Kombat 2 too, which was teased by Garner, but it might not be as Sub-Zero. Taslim will likely return as Noob Saibot, the shadow that the character turns into after being killed by Scorpion in the game lore. It was previously reported that Taslim signed a five-movie deal with Warner Bros. so it's hardly surprising that the character is returning in some capacity despite his death in the 2021 movie.

Synopsis
Ajay Chauvan lives with his parents and a younger sister. Ajay loves Pooja and hopes to get marry to her one day; he prepares a job application and send it to various places but in the mean-while he stages dance programs and performs in street fights to meet his family needs. A few days later he receive a letter informing him that he must present himself for an interview pertaining a job in Bombay. He does attend the interview only to be selected for the job; satisfy with this Ajay decides to offer prayers at a near-by temple only to find himself arrested by the police, tortured and accused of raping 3 young girls. The case is then called up in a court of law where-by Ajay is found guilty and is sentenced to 4 years imprisonment. After completing his sentence Ajay return home only to find that nothing is the same anymore his dad and fiancée has committed suicide, his mother is living a destitute life while his sister loses her mental balance and is confined in a mental asylum prompting Ajay to start his own investigations with the help of a police officer whose daughter was one of the rape victims. After concluding his investigations Ajay is willing to leave no stone unturned in punishing the real perpetrators of the crime he was wrongly punish for.

This is an open matte transfer, which means the picture is flat and can fill the whole area, normally the projectionist is expected to add a cache to hide the top and bottom part of the screen (soft matte) to show in a widescreen aspect. I did not apply such thing and therefore at some points you can see some microphones, light diffuser and other movie artefacts that you would normally not see in the theater.

We do see the border of the picture which is being rotated to add some movement effect.
