Leo (120 BPMs Felix Maritaud) is a 22-year-old sex worker who yearns for affection. But when his romantic feelings are violently rebuffed, Leo begins to spiral, questioning if he will ever find the love he so desperately craves. While the title might imply a wild, even feral, affair (and indeed this sexually explicit film comes with its fair share of brutality), Camille Vidal-Naquet’s arresting debut is also one of quiet introspection and disarming fragility. Such compassion is in no small part thanks to the remarkable Félix Maritaud, whose raw and vulnerable central performance is nothing short of excellent.

In Afghanistan, the French journalist Elsa and her colleague Amen are covering the story of Maina, a woman that was sold to a man when she was a child. The Taliban leader Ahmed Zaief abducts Elsa and Amen and tries to force her to read a message to the Western governments. The Frech president sends six Special Force men to rescue Elsa that his hidden in a fortress in Pakistan. The team composed by Commander Kovax, Tic-Tac, Lucas, the sniper Elias, Victor and Marius release Elsa and Amen from their imprisonment but they lose their radios. Now the group needs to cross the inhospitable land to save their lives with the Taliban chasing them.
