Cannery Row Trailer - Directed by David S. Ward and starring Nick Nolte, Frank McRae, M. Emmet Walsh, Tom Mahoney, John Malloy. A depressed section of Monterey, California is the backdrop for an offbeat romantic comedy about a pair of mismatched lovers. Doc is a lonely marine biologist and former baseball star. Suzy is a scrappy, abrasive drifter who can't even succeed as a prostitute. Add Cannery Row's band of resident drunken derelicts to the mix and fireworks result, though not the romantic kind.

ABOUT KNIGHT RIDER:
David Hasselhoff stars as Michael Knight in his breakout role as a crime fighter who awakens from a serious injury with a new identity. In the series premiere, Las Vegas police detective Michael Arthur Long is shot in the face and left for dead before being rescued by dying millionaire Wilton Knight, the chairman of Knight Industries and creator of the public justice organization, the Foundation for Law and Government (FLAG). Wilton makes Michael the primary agent for FLAG, giving him a new identity via plastic surgery and the name Michael Knight, plus an arsenal of equipment to continue his crime-fighting work. Principle among this equipment is the Knight Industries Two Thousand, or KITT, a heavily modified and artificially intelligent Pontiac Firebird Trans Am with the ability to talk, fire weapons and travel at high speed. Michael and KITT work together to take down criminals who operate above the law.

When he first read the script Rock didn't want the role. In fact he didn't think the controversial story should be filmed. After more consideration, he decided that the message was an important one and accepted the role.
The director Boris Sagal was killed while filming on location in Oregon.The third day of filming (5/24/1981) Sagal was struck by a helicopter blade. he was replaced by David Greene.
Rock spoke on that movies at " The Paul Ryan ' Show ".
